"Nice!" is the only expression that comes to mind for this Ruth/Gehrig cut. There will never again be a duo like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. They were a deadly combination as Yankee teammates but they weren't the best of friends off the field. Which is why it's a rare occasion to see both signatures on paper.
Here at 1213 Boyles, we always have authentic autographs of Mantle, DiMaggio, and Ted Williams on hand. But I have never seen a situation where we have so many Ruths, Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, etc. all at one time.
